Dove Nested Towers is a phrase from a lyric by Van Dyke Parks for the song “Surf's Up”, which was composed by Brian Wilson in 1966 for the long-unreleased Beach Boys masterpiece SMiLE. It was also the name of my blog, which I started in 2008. You can see my old blog here. But from now on, all new blog posts will appear on this website. As it says in my Twitter bio, “I write about music and muse about writing, and anything else that I might find exciting.” Which might include politics, Israel, food, my personal and professional lives, and, of course, music.
